Project
The scientific methodolody of the MIRAGE project is based of three pillars:
Integration of complementary expertise: three different research units (UNIMIB, UNIBO and CNR) will collaborate in interrelated actions.
Multiple processes and environments: different types of mass movements (slow rock deformations, rockslides, earthflows and rockglaciers) will be analysed in the Italian Alps and Apennines.
Multiple spatial and temporal scales: SAR products will be produced at multi-temporal scale to evaluate the activity and evolution of the mass movements over wide areas (thousands of square km) and at site-specific level (case studies).
Project activities are organised in 6 work packages (WP). Within WP1 (Project Management), the UNIMIB research unit will coordinate the remaining WPs which are interconcted and structured as follows:
